This bourbon has a significant oak presence and a layered flavor profile. I really enjoyed this particular expression. Frankly, it just needed a bit more proof compared to other available options. I highly endorse it.

The nose is dark and fruity, which is pleasant. It reminds me of chocolate-covered pomegranates. The body has some enjoyable cocoa notes. It's distinctive, and I like it.
All I taste is pepper. It's too hot, overwhelmingly so, with wood and pepper. The finish is pepper. Not very good.
The nose has smooth notes, followed by a sharp chocolate taste in the body that matches the kick.
A terrible finish, somewhere between pepper and smoky cigarette butts.
Graham cracker, spice, and nutmeg.
