A pleasant spirit to sip. A faint fruity aroma, perhaps apple? The palate isn't dominated by any single note, but rather a blend of smoke, oak, and baking spices. It doesn't have noticeable legs, but the texture isn't watery. A brief, yet sweet conclusion. Quite enjoyable.

When I sampled it at the distillery, it seemed peppery. Re-tasting it several times at home, I primarily detect a musty flavor that reminds me of a dusty barn. It's not my preferred choice, but I have encountered less enjoyable spirits.
It seems young, yet the alcohol sting isn't present like one might expect. The taste is pleasant and consistent, even with its pale hue.
