About this bottle
Introduced in April 2014, the Elmer T. Lee Commemorative Edition pays tribute to the late master distiller emeritus of Buffalo Trace, who passed away shortly before his 94th birthday in 2013. This bourbon originates from the same warehouse levels where Lee selected his namesake single barrel bourbon. As a single barrel bottling, this Commemorative Edition is presented at 93 proof, reflecting Lee's age at his passing. Contributions from this bourbon's sales are directed to VFW Post 4075, a post to which he belonged.
