Received from a bourbon enthusiast in 2020. Aroma: chewed minty gum, damp hay Taste: well-balanced with a slight touch of heat. Smooth and easy to drink. Finish: it lingers but not for long Glad I had the opportunity to try it. It was a fine Elijah Craig.
A very good bourbon with notes of toasted oak and caramel. The vanilla is strong. It has a rounded mouthfeel with adequate body that isn't too boozy. Subtle hints of pine and lemon are also present.
