Nose: Orchard fruits, possibly a honeyed pear? Malt, stone fruit, a subtle tannin note, and the faintest ethanol burn. Palate: Crisp, honey, pear cider, and a slightly granular brown sugar sweetness. Finish: Medium-long. A slight bite and prickle, but not harsh. Refreshing, cleansing the palate with a lingering pepper. It's simple, clean, and crisp. A bit too mellow for my preference, but it's an easy drinker that's unlikely to offend. It's summery and can be easily consumed in large amounts. Whiskey tasting #29
