Aroma: Deep notes of plum and apple. Also a rich hint of butterscotch. Palate: This presents a delightful palate of a caramel apple, similar to what you'd find at a fair, with a citrus accent. Finish: Buttery, sweet, and smooth. There was also a hint of orange on the finish. This one was a surprise; I bought it seeking a new bourbon under $50 and it delivers. It has abundant fruit and festive characteristics.

I'm reluctant to praise this too highly for fear of depleting the supply, but it's outstanding. I've gone through my third bottle in about eight weeks, and at $40 locally in Michigan, I find it reasonably priced given how much I enjoy it. I appreciate Eagle Rare when I can find it, and I believe this surpasses it.
Great quality. It's quite light at first with a slight burn at the conclusion. The flavor is also pretty good. After a blind tasting with four other people, this was our top selection, outranking Blantons, Sweet Wheat, Old Forester BiB, and others.
Pleasant nutty, grape, and vanilla notes on the nose and a creamy palate, but it feels somewhat underdeveloped with some astringency and heat. The finish is medium in length and warming, with a subtle hint of Grape-Nuts cereal.
Honey, vanilla, almonds, and wood combine well to create a sweet finish. With a 92 proof, it has a lingering flavor without the harshness.
There's a subtle brandy character that complements the bourbon notes. It's pleasant, but not exceptional.
