Who knew La Palma produced whisky? Destilerías Aldea, primarily a rum maker, named this blend after the Canarian dragon tree. It's somewhat unusual and lacks vibrancy. The aroma hints at sour cream, green apples, and grapes, with emerging leafy bitterness and traces of old engine oil. The initial taste is oily, fruity, and quite aromatic, followed by a light peat smoke, aloe vera, and peculiar herbal notes as it develops.
