An impulse buy at the SAQ during a recent trip to Montreal; it wasn't quite what I was expecting. It's overly saccharine sweet initially with a somewhat artificial lemon taste. I don't detect any gentian character. I was hoping for a potential substitute for Suze or Biancosarti in cocktails; this won't work.
