This collaboration between German and Austrian producers, using 23 botanicals, at least some of which were vertically farmed for sustainability, has resulted in a stunning composition. It offers a wide spectrum of aromas, starting with a subtle baseline of juniper, moving to prominent citrus, clear strawberry sweetness, hints of wildflowers, and subtle savory herbs. If you don't mind the price for a top-quality gin, this is an easy choice; however, the very similar and equally enjoyable Citadelle Jardin d'Été is a slightly less expensive option, and comes in a larger bottle.
