Tumblin' Dice 3 Year Straight Bourbon, a product of Proof & Wood Ventures, was created by Dave Schmier. The bourbon was produced at MGP in Indiana using a mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley. It aged for three years in new, charred American oak and is bottled at 100 proof.

A prime example of a well-made bourbon. Although it tastes a bit young (a strong alcoholic scent and a brief finish), the prominent spice and vanilla elements compensate for its lack of maturity. For an easily found, reasonably priced whiskey, I intend to include one of these in my usual bar setup.
Nose shows rye spice, alcohol, and some wood. The taste is somewhat sweet, with notes of spice, leather, and oak. The finish has a bit of warmth and a distinctive, faint smoky taste.
It doesn't have as much depth as the 11 (obviously), but I still really like this one. I purchased an extra for storage.
For someone who enjoys rye, this bourbon has a nice spice. It's smooth and reasonably priced. A good daily drinker.
Quite good! Notes of vanilla and spice, but not overly potent. It's sweet with a satisfying conclusion.
A rather intense burn as it goes down; it's not the smoothest bourbon I've encountered.
