About this bottle

This offering is a single barrel selection from the brand's small batch bourbon. It contains a blend of bourbon aged between 4 and 6 years, created from a mash bill containing 60% corn, 22% winter wheat grown in Tennessee, and 18% malted barley. Please note: the cask strength proof will differ for each selection.

Gonzalo Aguirre 3.5

Nose: caramel, nutty, ethanol, oak, pastry dough, strawberry Palate: Vanilla, spicy proof with cinnamon and pepper, oak, nutty, caramel Finish: short to medium, thin, dry, pepper and vanilla This single barrel store pick, bottled at 119 proof, is more potent than its stated proof suggests. Adding a few drops of water significantly improved it and mellowed the intensity. It's hot and spicy neat, but a real pleasure with a bit of water.

Caryn Harkins 3.3

I possess the “Small Batch” expression, not the “Single Barrel”. Sweetness and spice dominate the initial taste and persist throughout the brief conclusion. It becomes more expressive with the addition of a little water.

Jadyn Zhou 3.5

Tastes of banana and peanut. It reminds me of Gentlemen Jack but with more intensity. Interesting woody notes. Still, a nice whiskey for sipping. Received as a gift from a friend at Craft Brewed in Nashville.

Jamel Dao 2.8

Tasted this blind with some pals. It's got heat, flavor, and a strong roasted character. The roasted note is somewhat reminiscent of a Balcones product.

Payton Hendrix 4.0

Clear, sweet, with candy and vanilla notes. Very enjoyable and surprisingly smooth for its alcohol content...

Emerson Hawley 4.0

The barrel is prominent, with sweetness and a moderate finish that lacks any harshness.
