Crystal Head Aurora is a premium offering from Crystal Head Vodka, a brand associated with Dan Aykroyd. Unlike the original version, which uses peaches and creamed corn, this vodka is crafted from English wheat. Post-distillation, the spirit undergoes seven filtration passes, three of which utilize Herkimer quartz "diamonds." The bottle's design is inspired by the aurora borealis phenomenon.

A refined drink for special moments, a Canadian wheat vodka; crafted five times; with flowery & peppery notes that add depth, purified seven times; utilizing diamond filtration for three of those cycles, adding subtlety to a smooth conclusion. August 2016 / July 2017
This Crystal Head bottling is definitely sweeter, smooth, and enjoyable. It's a bit expensive for what it is, but I suppose the novelty bottle is part of the cost.
The packaging was the draw, and it was far too aggressive for the $90 spent. It has too much of a rye-like sharpness for a vodka.
