Tastes of dates and figs. A bit harsh initially with a moderate warmth. Notes of leather and a hint of tobacco. Excellent Texas whiskey, but I don't feel the need to revisit it.
Acetone is detected on the nose. Strong vanilla and brown sugar notes on the palate, with undertones of wheaty whisky. A banana-like quality is present.
A potent initial impact, yet quite pleasing. I thoroughly enjoy it.
Tastes like raisins, old books, and molasses.
