Sweet and syrupy, with a secondary note of oak and spice. Some apple and grapefruit are present initially, but they disappear into a rather sour taste. It tastes young with an immediate hit of un-aged alcohol, but overall it's agreeable and easy to drink. This could be a pretty decent drink with a few more years of aging.

The aroma is honey and the clear scent of young spirit. The taste begins quite fresh with green apple and new oak before yielding to a little spice, but again, more young spirit. The finish is short, with wood and spice. Unmemorable.
Aroma: Orange marmalade and brown sugar. Taste: Rich and fruity. Finish: Medium duration and warming.
Peach on the nose. Apricot on the palate. A lengthy finish with some warmth.
Quite good. Smooth, not overly harsh despite 50% ABV. Brown sugar notes.
