This single barrel selection from r/Bourbon has a 4.75 year age statement and is 121.2 proof. I spent $65, plus shipping, for a total of $83. Appearance: Deep copper. Nose: Classic notes of vanilla and caramel are present, along with hints of cinnamon or baking spice and a touch of honey. Palate: The cinnamon spice is more noticeable here, complementing sweet flavors of caramel, vanilla, and hazelnut. Finish: The finish really elevates my score for this bourbon. It lingers longer than anticipated, with an oily texture and persistent sweet flavors. A slight cinnamon tingle remains, but without any harshness or burn. Overall: A solid choice for a single barrel selection. For $65, it offers decent value as a single-barrel wheated bourbon. It delivers the expected classic flavors of a wheated bourbon. While a good bottle, it doesn't quite stand out as particularly memorable.

Has a rich/full and thick mouthfeel. Overall flavor leans toward a sweet creaminess, but switches to a more dry and tannic flavor to keep it from being overly sweet. The proof is manageable but definitely present and another thing keeping it from being too sweet. It’s good and different enough to be worthwhile to give it a try. You can tell it’s still young though so would love to try an older age profile down the line.

Pleasantly sweet, not too much. High alcohol content (114 proof) but goes down smoothly.
