About this bottle
Cooper River Rye proudly holds the distinction of being the first whiskey produced, from grain to bottle, in New Jersey since Prohibition ended. Its mash bill consists of 63% rye, 23% corn, and 14% malted barley. The fermentation process lasts for six days using their rum yeast before distillation in a copper alembic still, followed by a year of aging in new charred white oak. Please note: This distillery ceased operations on May 5, 2018.
