Compass Box King Street - Single Marrying Cask 'The Lost Child'

This blended Scotch Whisky from Compass Box's Great King Street line, a limited release called ''The Lost Child'', showcases John Glaser's craft. It revisits original maturation casks, possibly American oak, Sherry butts, or custom French oak, before marrying and bottling at 49.5%. The initial impression is delicate, with notes of green apples, citrus, toasted oak, and sweet cream. The middle stage is creamy, revealing flavors of floral wood, sultanas, sponge cake, honey, cinnamon, and lemon curd. It concludes with a robust and zesty finish of medium duration, featuring cheesecake, vanilla cream, smoke, and wood. January 2020 / August 2022
