Cleveland Underground Black Reserve

A balanced bourbon from Tom Lix for Cleveland Whiskey in Ohio (more details below). It begins delicately with notes of vanilla and sweet toffee; a sweet middle adds flavors of Cracker Jacks, caramel, and warming spice; leading to a long conclusion with notes of port, fruit, honey, and a hint of bitterness and oak. May / October 2018 / August 2022

The first Bourbon I've ever wanted to discard. It tastes as if it were made with water from the Cuyahoga River, specifically from the time of its infamous fire. We all deserve a refund.
