Aroma... Basic caramel and toasted corn. Sweet and oat-forward... Appearance... Light to medium amber hue... Palate... Dominated by cereal, reminiscent of a dry bowl of Cheerios. The taste is influenced by corn, with grassy and earthy undertones. Conclusion... Considering the price, it's very reasonable. In my personal, almost conspiratorial view, the retailer (Binnys) selected what they felt was good from a nice bourbon barrel and bottled the remainder after watering it down. Is this a negative? Not at all, it's superior to most budget options. It stands well on its own neat, and when I factor in the $13 price, it's a definite buy.

Evaluated in a glencairn glass. Sweet undertones at first. Light mouthfeel. A bit diluted with a sharp burn at the start and down the throat. Hints of toasted oak, caramel, and honey. A single ice cube reduces the burn but also eliminates the flavor. Consume it neat; appreciate the warmth. Considering the price, this whiskey is a great value.
90 proof. Sweet corn, charred oak, baked apple pie, cinnamon, a hint of orange, a bit of vanilla, a touch of honey. Nicely balanced, good for the cost.
For a price below $13, this is quite respectable. It appears to be a very well-rounded bourbon suitable for mixing. Honestly, it's hard to disagree.
It has a charred taste, and also seems diluted. I'm having it over ice but suspect it's better in a mixed drink.
If you have the chance to try it, purchase it. For the expense, it's excellent. Took it abroad to Germany, and it was also highly appreciated.
