Ichiro's Malt Chichibu 2010 Chibidaru (bottled 2014) A well-rounded, four-year-old Japanese single malt whisky by Ichiro Akito for the Hanyu Distillery, aged in quarter casks with a total of 262 bottles produced. The name "Chibidaru" translates to "cute casks" in Japanese! It begins with spicy notes of pear, apple pie, and smoke; its rich life develops notes of citrus peel, cereal, syrup, and coffee; leading to a medium-length sweet finish with hints of oak, vanilla, ginger, and spiced orange.
