About this bottle

Catoctin Creek Distillery in Purcellville, Virginia, partnered with nearby Heritage Brewing in Manassas to produce their inaugural malt whisky. Catoctin distilled Heritage's Kings Mountain Scotch Ale, which had been aged in used barrels from the distillery. This limited-edition, single-barrel whiskey, with 344 bottles produced, was aged for at least one year in a new, charred oak cask. The review is from bottle 282.
