caskaskia small batch

This expression has a distinct buttery brown sugar essence. While I'm not usually adept at identifying specific notes, that's what I perceive on the nose. It's mildly sweet. I genuinely appreciate it a great deal! I believe now that it has been opened, I will try it again in two weeks. I'm hoping it will improve a bit more, as most spirits do after resting for a while. It was aged for 46 months. Upon revisiting it after two weeks, this has transformed into an absolute butterscotch delight!! An excellent accomplishment from a local craft distillery!!
