An elegant, Single Estate, Agave Spirit from the Montes Family in Jalisco (Los Valles), Mexico [NOM 1480]. It was made in a stone oven and aged for 12-13 months in former Woodford Reserve Bourbon Barrels. It begins with an aromatic bouquet of agave, wood, herbs, and spices. A rich body follows, featuring notes of cider and caramel, leading to a warm, medium-length finish with hints of pepper, cinnamon, dark chocolate, toasted oak, and earth, suitable for bourbon enthusiasts. About this bottle
Casa Azul has introduced a trio of USDA certified organic tequilas—blanco, reposado, and añejo—following their initial launch of tequila sodas. Each expression is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave sourced from a single estate and contains no additives. This añejo bottling was aged in American oak for over a year prior to bottling. The launch coincides with the announcement that Mexican actress Eiza González has joined the brand as an investor. Available in select US markets starting April 2023, this añejo tequila has an SRP of $129.
