The Casa San Matias Carmesí 1886 Tequila Anejo is a full-bodied Agave Spirit crafted by Carmen Villarellay for Casa San Matias [NOM 1103] in Jalisco, Mexico. It was aged for a minimum of 18 months in barrels previously used for bourbon. Its aroma presents a beginning of cooked agave, wood, and spice. Its body is characterized by oak, vanilla, and agave nectar. The finish is sweet and smooth, lasting a moderate duration with hints of butterscotch and toffee. July 2023

Warm, smooth, delicious. On par with Forteleza Anejo. I would purchase this.
