The second release from a distillery. Their bourbon offering was disappointing. This one is very light and delicate; I had to add a lot of water to discern any character. It was 66.7% ABV, possibly the highest non-bourbon proof I've encountered. Sweetness and a hint of vanilla were present but barely registered on my palate. I tried this after a new Longrow cask strength 14-year-old Sherry wood and before a 15-year Springbank, the Sanaig, and a Balvenie Caribbean cask. Perhaps it's best tried with water first. I can't rate it higher than 3.25.
