The New Zealand Whisky Co. has released this single malt, distilled at the now-defunct Willowbank Distillery in Dunedin. It is made from 100% New Zealand malted barley and aged for 25 years in American oak, ex-bourbon casks. Sold in 375ml bottles, it is bottled at 40% ABV. As of August 2017, it has become available in the US.

This reminds me of a younger sibling to Old Pulteney, but from far away. The aroma is salty and oceanic, but this doesn't immediately come across on the palate; it appears a bit later, along with a creamy texture. A solid dram!
