Captain Morgan Silver Spiced Rum

The aroma reminded me of rubbing alcohol, possibly a hint of banana... truly awful. However, the taste was a pleasant surprise. Subtle spicy notes, a touch of pepper, banana, and some sweetness, with vanilla. Not ideal for sipping straight, but better than I had anticipated.

Abundant vanilla on the nose and the palate. The sweetness becomes prominent just before the finish.
