It strongly brought to mind Laphroaig Brodir, though it wasn't as good as that one. Peat and red fruits!

About this bottle
Gordon & MacPhail, a company with 122 years of history, restructured its entire range of products in April 2018 as part of a modernization effort. The Connoisseurs Choice range was the first to feature a new design. Among the initial new releases under this branding is a 13-year-old whisky from the Islay distillery Caol Ila, which was finished in an ex-Hermitage wine cask.
