About this bottle

Gordon & MacPhail, a company with 122 years of history, restructured its entire range of products in April 2018 as part of a modernization effort. The Connoisseurs Choice range was the first to feature a new design. Among the initial new releases under this branding is a 13-year-old whisky from the Islay distillery Caol Ila, which was finished in an ex-Hermitage wine cask.

Sammie Seaman 4.5

It strongly brought to mind Laphroaig Brodir, though it wasn't as good as that one. Peat and red fruits!

Connie Spear 1.0

An unpleasant rubber smell, with no depth in flavor. Disappointed with this one..

Patsy Martin 4.0

Smoky, viscous, with notes of red fruits.
