This small batch bourbon is a combination of 13-year-old and 8-year-old Kentucky straight bourbons, with 25 barrels of each. The bourbon's mash bill consists of 74% corn, 18% rye, and 8% malted barley. It was distilled and aged in Bardstown, Kentucky, and bottled by Three Springs Bottling Co. in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The aroma has banana and fruit, with very little alcohol detected, indicating it's likely not a high proof. Upon first taste, the mouthfeel is thin, presenting notes of sour apple and raisins. A second sip reveals more complexity with baking spices and abundant sweetness. Despite the rich flavor profile, it unfortunately fades quickly with an extremely brief finish.
A solid aroma. I wondered if the 14-year-old would enhance the 8-year-old. I was pleased even before the first sip. Overall, a satisfying experience. The flavor is robust, and the finish is clean. It definitely performs above its $60 price point. I will purchase more.
Subtle caramel aroma. Better on the palate with clear oak and light caramel. Oily texture and goes down smoothly, lingering longer than expected. The lower ABV is noticeable.
