Nose: Predominantly caramel. A hint of oak, a touch of red fruit sweetness. Body: Light to medium, leaning more towards light. Palate: The initial taste is the faintest red fruit sweetness, followed by soft caramel that leads into the finish. Finish: Short to medium with faint traces of caramel and oak. Note: This is the 2022 1010 BT SB pick. I haven't tried BT before, and it's the 4th of July, so why not give it a go? This is a pleasant, straightforward, basic bourbon. Nothing wrong with it. Strong caramel notes, very easy to sip, exceptionally smooth on the palate and finish. It's dangerously drinkable due to how easily it goes down and the inviting sweet caramel. While not earth-shattering, it's very solid.
