Buffalo Trace Binny's Small Batch Select

This might have been a top store selection from 2019. It has the flavor of a Heath Bar. If it had a higher proof and a little more body, it would be elevated from good to great! Considering the cost, I regret not purchasing several bottles!

Batch #23. More spice than I anticipated. There's a hint of caramel here alongside some strong heat, and a finish with subtle malt notes that are overpowered by what seems like rye spice.

Excellent overall. Vanilla sweetness hits first, followed by a distinct spicy finish. Delightful.

Quite aggressive and fiery. It's not nearly as dark as I prefer. I would purchase it again.

The store's pick is practically the same as Blanton's. Save some money and always grab this selection.

A gift for my grandfather and father-in-law, they love it - it's my favorite bourbon!
