This is from the Winship Company and a Buffalo Trace product. That was the primary reason I decided to try it. After some research, this originates from the Barton 1792 Distillery. The aroma has notes of sweet cherry and brown sugar. The palate remains somewhat sweet, with vanilla and cherry appearing towards the end. The finish is less impressive and doesn't linger. I also tried this in an Old Fashioned, and it wasn't a preparation I'd repeat. I was pleased to have tried it, but I would be eager to sample it again neat or as an Old Fashioned.

Gentle nose... vanilla is the most prominent. Sweet. Some oak. Sufficient oiliness to coat your lips. About what I anticipate from a decent $30 bottle. Good for sipping. Good flavor. Not very intricate and a fairly short finish. But if you're on a budget, this would be in my collection. Had it compared to HH BIB and ET BIB, and preferred BS BIB.

Rich taste and definitely sweet. A fairly typical bourbon character, yet it possesses a pleasant harmony and intensity of flavor. The heat arrives as expected, without any surprises. Quite happy with it for the cost. I also acquired the single barrel version (broken fence) which I am eager to taste alongside this one.

I genuinely enjoyed this bourbon; it has a nice amount of cherry sweetness, caramel, and oakiness. The finish is somewhat long and hot with a touch of spice, but it becomes more open with additional vanilla and brown sugar when water is added.

Ola Earl 2.5

Full-bodied and sweet, but finishes with a bitter note. I probably won't purchase it again.

Khloe Thai 3.0

Very light, extremely light, doesn't have much substance, an uncomplicated sipper.
