About this bottle
Michter's Legacy Series Bomberger's Declaration, a limited edition, is finished in proprietary PFG barrels, which stand for Precision Fine Grain. These specific barrels are crafted from wood sourced from various forests, including Tronçais, Allier, Nevers, and Vosges, and were seasoned for 40 months before being toasted and charred to Michter's specifications. This 2025 release, bottled at 50.1% ABV, became available in late January 2025. (SRP $140)

Smells like: soft vanilla and cherry, some cola Palate: brown sugar, more cola (strong) vanilla, tannins start to come through, fruity dry finish. Good stuff!
Very pleasant flavor and aftertaste. Goes down easily and is more flavorful than the standard Bomberger’s
Initially sweet and fruity, it concludes with a touch of dryness and hints of leather
Sweet with caramel and a hint of dark fruit.
French oak works very well here.
