Considering it cost $70, I anticipated more from this bottle based on my four distinct tastings. The complexity does appear to increase and become more refined as it rests. Nevertheless, this whiskey isn't worth twice the price of Eagle Rare, Evan Williams Single Barrel, or even standard Willet. For a more discerning blended whiskey with some age, consider High West Campfire or a comparable option.

This is incredibly intricate. A friend gave me a bottle as a present; I wasn't sure what to anticipate. Nose has plums, cherries, BBQ sauce, and cinnamon. Taste includes vanilla, brown sugar, cherries, spice, wood, and almond. Finish is smooth yet lasting with sweetness and cherry. This is the finest bourbon I've ever had. When I mentioned we need to get more of this, my partner revealed the price - it's worth every single cent!

I typically enjoy my whiskey neat. However, given all the buzz, this one left much to be desired. After consuming about an ounce and a half, I added a few drops of water to the remainder and discovered the oaky vanilla and spicy bourbon I was anticipating from the initial sip. For me, this whiskey isn't worth it.

Smooth when drunk neat. As the official review suggests, it's a straightforward bourbon. The aroma really indicates the presence of wheat among the three grains. A small amount of water significantly opened it up. Solid, but not exceptional.
