About this bottle

Black Cow Vodka, first released in 2012, was developed by dairy farmer Jason Barber. Produced in southwest England, its creation involves milk from Barber's pasture-fed cows. Specifically, the whey from the cow's milk is fermented with yeast to produce an alcoholic base, while the curds are used for cheddar cheese production. This vodka undergoes triple filtration and is bottled at 40% ABV.

Anita Barajas 3.5

A smooth vodka made from milk from England. This vodka, which claims to be the first ever pure milk vodka, is produced using the whey from cheese made by a local dairy farmer. The whey is used for this spirit while the curds are used for his award-winning cheeses! It starts with hints of sweet vanilla, the taste is smooth and sweet with a touch of cinnamon, and it finishes clean and warm. July 2017

Tiffany Anderson 2.5

Nose: A sharp crack of black pepper is followed by notes of white chocolate and a hint of citrus. Palate: The same character as the nose carries over but with added creaminess from the milk and a long, unpleasantly harsh spice that lingers. Finish: Lingering spice alongside white chocolate and a final trace of strawberry.

Wilson Pike 4.5

This is excellent served neat and cold. I get a hint of cream with a mild sweetness. Very little warmth. Wonderful for a straightforward neutral vodka. I've already purchased a second bottle for my collection. I do not plan on using it in cocktails.

Damian Westbrook 4.5

A wonderfully smooth, light, and creamy vodka. This one is best enjoyed straight, without any mixers. Serve chilled.

Bobbie Hein 5.0

Very easy to drink and nearly flavorless, which has its advantages.

Greg Pringle 3.0

It has a subtle creamy sensation.
