Bison Ridge 8 year. Canadian whisky imported and bottled in Minnesota by Prestige Wine and Spirits Group. 40% ABV. Aroma: very faint sweetness, some ethanol, not good. Taste: Sweetness moves from front to back, minor barrel notes, some astringency. Some odd/off flavors. Very smooth. The 8 year tastes very immature, certainly not worth the price. Cost: $21.99 plus tax. Grade: C-

About this bottle
Crosby Lake Spirits and Prestige Wine & Spirits, based in Minnesota, produce and import Bison Ridge Special Reserve, a Canadian whisky. This spirit matures for 8 years in American white oak barrels. The packaging saw a recent modification following a legal disagreement over branding; however, examples featuring a bison illustration on the label might still be found available for purchase.

Nutty. For the money you can get more pleasure with older aged Canadian whiskey! This one pleased me very much! Ireland out and want to find it again!
Would compare to regular Crown Royal or Pendalton. Nothing special, but a nice cheap "mixing" whiskey.
Considering the $14.99 cost, this is a rather smooth whiskey.
It's difficult to believe this is eight years old.
