The maturation in casks previously holding a chocolate spirit, made from over 200 kilos of dark cocoa pods from Sao Tomé, handpicked by a chocolatier, is quite evident. This is restricted to 1000 bottles. The dark chocolate character clearly comes through on both the aroma and taste. It feels like a spirit you'd need to be in the right mood for and wouldn't consume regularly because the chocolate is so dominant, but I found it enjoyable.
