Intense charred oak with wheat and malted barley. The taste presents light vanilla caramel with oak char and wheat and barley leading. Not much spice as there's little to no rye in the mash bill. Somewhat woody and dark with a slight alcohol bite in the middle and a smooth finish. It's a nice sipper with a distinct profile at a moderate price from some wonderful new friends.

When I sampled this bourbon, only bottles under two years old were obtainable (I recall being informed at the distillery the age was around 18 months? It was some time ago).
It has a subtle vanilla flavor. A hint of caramel and oak on the finish. Overall, it's quite tasty despite its youth. I would be interested in trying this batch at 8 years old instead of 2.
