A rich, Blended Scotch Whisky crafted by Macleod's Master Blender Gordon Doctor; composed of 14 single malts and grain whiskies sourced from across Scotland, aged for at least 12 years; subsequently matured in American and European oak casks for an additional 6 months post-blending. It begins with an aromatic profile featuring notes of grains, wood, and spices; its complex development introduces notes of caramelized vanilla, dark toffee, and roasted nuts; culminating in a long and rich conclusion with notes of butterscotch and oak. Pale amber color, faint caramel scent. Thin drips form on the legs all around. Vanilla and strong oak flavor.
Starts salty with caramel, finishes with a light smoke. Surprisingly good
