It's quite enjoyable. At first, it's flavorful and mellow, but it finishes with a strong burn and an unpleasant lingering taste. Perhaps it was because I consumed a significant amount of Nerds candy just prior, but regardless. This practice of combining various bourbons and whiskeys globally results in a truly distinctive flavor profile. Revisiting it, my appreciation has grown considerably. I'm really enjoying the taste, it's so distinctive, and I might even prefer it to Batch 25. Barrell is rapidly becoming my top choice. Absolutely relishing it now!

Nose: pleasant sweetness, vibrant citrus, hint of salt, almond liqueur, buttery cookie - thanks to others for the last two Taste: fruit, spice, orchard fruit, nectar, spice, caramel, chocolate, soft cheese, heat, crisp bread, cured meat - so much going on Finish: lingering spice with additional nectar, vanilla, botanical touches, and smoked meat A unique and potent whiskey that's excellent for its category.
Nose - sweet and sharp, with notes of caramel and bright citrus Palate - hot and rich, medium body, with sharp bright citrus complemented by caramel and vanilla Finish - a hot burn, rich and sweet with a bright conclusion
The nose offers notes of almond and shortbread. The flavor is somewhat scattered, with a hint of licorice, a touch of smoke; it's very intriguing and complex.
Salty, toasted amaretto cream puff pastry notes. A hint of savory cherry ham. Slight clove. Reminds me of Irish whiskey first.
