Has a considerably stronger flavor compared to Finest or the standard 12 year. High spice, with smoke present in the mid-palate. Like the 12 year, it tastes like it was finished in a Sherry cask; there's a cream and vanilla aroma that is slightly diminished on the tongue. Unlike the standard 12 year, the underlying dryness of oak is absent.
