Lorrie Mason 2.0

Balcones True Blue Cask Strength Fossil Creek Single Barrel Pick Robust corn notes mingled with a hint of nutmeg and oak. As you continue to smell, the corn develops a subtle sweetness, reminiscent of cornbread – 5 The taste brings forth cornbread, caramel, and plum. It feels unwelcoming – 4 The finish features oak and corn-derived ethanol – 4 Overall: 4 Offers a complete corn character for reference, but I will not purchase it again!

Whitney Ivey 4.0

From a specific store selection in 2021. Very sweet, prominently corn, a slight alcoholic scent on the nose, but I expected more given its 120+ proof. The taste is sugary like Corn Pops, with caramel corn and oak notes. It has a thick mouthfeel. Good warmth from the proof. The sweetness softens in the finish, which is quite pleasant.

Whitney Sheridan 3.5

So harsh. Nothing else can be tasted afterward.
