Bacardí Gran Reserva 16 Year, introduced in July 2019, is exclusively available in global travel retail. This spirit has been aged for 16 years in American white oak barrels and is offered at 80 proof in 1L bottles.

This is a very good rum, particularly when contrasted with the Reserva Limitada (10 year) release. The nose is a bit richer, and the palate is full of vanilla and a touch of pepper, akin to a Rhum style rum like Clement XO. The finish is smooth and somewhat dry.
