Appearance: Clear, with a fine crest where multiple medium drops fall slowly. Nose: Neutral, with a mild sweet ethanol note, soft toasted white bread, and a whisper of floral notes. Subtle flavors but not bland. Palate: Sweet ethanol, subtle grain chaff, subtle berry flavor like blueberries and field strawberries, again very neutral. The body has a nice texture and is a bit oily with a soft astringency; there is also a nice sweetness, a pleasant warmth, and a light bitterness. No off-flavors. Finish: Lingering warmth with berries becoming more prominent, leaving a sort of berry-flavored water. In summary: sweet, neutral, grainy & fruity. Great as a sipper and would be wonderful in a Cape Codder or a Vodka & Tonic.
