The nose is very complex. The peat is gentle yet well-defined. Plenty of sweetness and malt provide nice balance, reminiscent of Laphroaig 10. A few drops of water reveal more fruity aromas. The palate is very spicy and sharp. The aftertaste is not long but pleasantly sweet. A very nice surprise!
