Little scent. A hint of citrus mixed with light alcohol vapors. At first, hardly any taste. A touch of creamy caramel and peppery spice. The pepper's bitterness lingers slightly, but overall it's a very subdued (diluted) drink. That said, I wasn't expecting much, but it's surprisingly smooth and easy to drink considering it was the only spirit available on a mild Egyptian winter evening.
