Arbikie Distillery, located on a 2000-acre farm in Scotland's Highlands, operates as a farm-to-bottle producer. Nearly all components for its spirits are cultivated and processed on their estate, with water sourced from an underground spring on the property. The gin, named for master distiller Kirsty Black, utilizes the distillery's triple-distilled, potato-based vodka as its foundation. Four botanicals—juniper, kelp, carline thistle, and blaeberry—all grown or gathered near the distillery, are infused into the vodka to create the gin.
