Nose: Butterscotch, a tart mix of red and green apple, candied bergamot orange, toasted sweet oak, sweet, relatively fresh caramel, Earl Grey tea, unripe Bartlett pears, fresh lemon peel, bittersweet French oak, buttery apple tarts, purple plums, floral notes (lilacs, water lilies), white pepper smokiness, a trace of white chocolate, light grape must, a hint of clove and peppermint, dried fruits (raisins, prunes, dates), subtle apricot and nectarine notes. Palate: Light and fresh honey, a slight citrus (lemon) hint, candy apple, apricots, bittersweet French oak, very light marine saltiness, abundant dates, old toffee, slight minerality, clove and peppermint, white pepper spice and earthiness. Finish: Mineral saltiness, lemon peel, caramel and oak spice, a hint of dill, tangy grape flavor, mild butterscotch.
