Nose: Red apple, grape juice, honey, sweet & malty Palate: Fresh fruit (red apple), plum, cherry, orange peel Finish: Medium long finish. Orange, citrus, baking spices. You can definitely taste the wine/grape on the finish. Souring on the aftertaste. Lovely milky mouthfeel. A little more full-bodied than you might typically expect from a blend - possibly due to the high malt content. Came third out of six drams, with a small percentage of the final vote for favorite of the night. A large majority of those present said they enjoyed the whiskey.
