Akva Vodka

I acquired this for infusing into gin. Its scent is as neutral as can be, with only a subtle smell of sugary alcohol. The palate is similar, lacking any distinct flavors beyond mild sweetness. It's remarkably smooth and easy to drink neat; I believe it will function well as a base, though this is my initial attempt and my knowledge is limited. I'm sure a higher alcohol content would be preferable for cocktails.

A pure Vodka from Akva Distillery in Stockholm, Sweden, crafted with natural mineral-rich water sourced from Vanern, Sweden's largest lake, and local organic winter wheat, distilled five times. It starts delicately, proceeds smoothly & cleanly; finishing with a slightly creamy & well-rounded character, including a hint of citrus. February 2021
